At Main Line Health, we recognize that every person’s journey is unique. With the understanding that one size does not fit all, the Gender Care Program offers a complete array of medical, surgical, behavioral health, and support services to serve the diverse goals and needs of transgender and gender-expansive individuals. Our aim is to create a safe, welcoming space where people experiencing any degree of gender-related distress can find the support and specialized care that they need.

The Main Line Health Gender Care Program offers:

• Gender-affirming hormone therapy, primary care, and other medical services
• Mental health and support services
• Gender-affirming surgery, including chest (top) and genital (bottom) surgery, facial feminization, and body contouring

Our multidisciplinary gender care team follows the standards of care from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). WPATH standards are based on the best available scientific evidence and expert consensus on transgender health.
